Now, change the communication speed to 19200bps by typing the AT Command “AT+IPR=19200” and then enter.
The response “OK” after sending of “at+ipr=19200” confirms that the speed of the modem has been changed to 19200.
After the “OK” response, you will not be able to communicate with the modem using AT Commands in HyperTerminal. This is due to the HyperTerminal comm. speed set at 115200 whereas you have now set the modem comm. speed to 19200.
Disconnect from HyperTerminal by clicking “Disconnect” in the toolbar to release the connection.
