8.1.11 Select Flow Control and Software (XON/XOFF)

Note: Some applications do not use Software Flow Control, therefore set flo w control to Hardware.

In whichever case, the hardware or the software must provide flow contro l otherwise data will be lost.

8.1.12 RS-232

In order to turn on the modem, Pin 4 (DTR) must be pulled high. This p in will normally be high on a

PC COM port when the COM port is available.
