• If theproblem persists after following the aboveguidelines, it may be due to
other factors. In this case, try the following:
• Lower theincoming water temperature to 120°- 130° F (49°-56 ° C).
• Decrease the amount of detergent in the MAIN WASH cup to 3teaspoons.
• Set the control dial to the Pots & Pans setting.
• Deselect water heating options.
• Aluminum utensils or pans can leavemarks when they rub against other items.
Leave a slight space between items.
• Iron in the water can leave a yellow, brown or orange film on dishes or the
ItemsWashed in the Dishwasher dishwasher tub.Afiltermay be needed. RoVer RustRemover* can be usedto

Colorfrom tomato sauces may adhere to the tub (see page 12). Iflightstain-

containscitric acid. Changing toa lemon-scented detergent (suchas
Sunlight*) may alsohelp.

• Plastic and teflon items are inherently difficult to dry because they have a porous
surface and tend tocollect water droplets. Toweldrying may be necessary.
• Glasses and cups with concave bottoms hold water and require towel drying.
• A Quick Wash/Rinse cycle does not dry the dishes. Towel drying is required.
• Load dishes according to instructions so they do not strike each other.(See
