Cycle Options

In addition to choosing a cycle from page 7, choose as many available options as are needed for your dishload.

OPTION	DESCRIPTION	USE WITH CYCLES
ToughScrub™/	Selected when washing loads with hard-to-remove food soils.	Heavy Wash
ToughScrub™ Plus	Depending on which cycle is being used, this option adds	Normal Wash
(select models)	heat and/or wash time to the wash cycle.	Light Wash
		Auto Clean (select models)
	Sanitizes dishware. When cycle monitor recognizes that the	Heavy Wash*
Sanitize	proper conditions have been met, SANITIZED light will activate	Normal Wash*
(select models)	at the end of the cycle. Sanitization may not be achieved if	Light Wash*
	there is an interruption of the cycle, power failure or if the	Auto Clean* (select models)
	incoming water temperature is below 120° F (49° C).
Extra Rinse	Adds an additional rinse to cycle. An extra rinse helps to	All cycles
(select models)	improve results in hard water situations.	(except Rinse Only)
160° Wash	Raises temperature in the final rinse to 160° F. This option can	Heavy Wash
	be used with any cycle except Quick Wash (select models)
		Normal Wash
(select models)	and Rinse Only.
		Auto Clean* (select models)
	For enhanced drying results select this option. When Heated
	Dry is not selected, towel drying of some items such as plastic
Heated Dry	and items with non-stick surfaces may be necessary and more	All cycles
	moisture may be noticed adhering to the dishwasher interior.	(except Rinse Only)
	In models with plastic interiors, it is normal to notice vapor
	escaping from the door vent as the heat dries your dishes.
	Vapor will escape even if Heated Dry is not selected.

* Only these cycles have been designated to meet NSF requirements (NSF/ANSI 184 Residential Dishwasher) for sanitization.

CAUTION

CAUTION – In models with plastic interiors, it is normal to notice vapor escaping from the door vent in the upper left corner of the door as the heat dries your dishes. The vapor is hot and may cause minor burns.
