CD/VCD BASIC OPERATION
PLAYBACK OF A CD/VCD

Press the STANDBY ON/OFF button on the main unit/remote to turn on the unit; the STANDBY indicator will go out and the Backlights will turn on.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray, “OPEN” will appear on the screen and in the display. Insert a disc will the label side facing up on the disc tray.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the disc tray. “CLOSE” will appear on the screen and in the display. After loading, playback will start automatically.

To stop playback, press the Stop (■) button ❶; “PRESS PLAY TO CONTINUE” will appear on the TV screen. Because the unit will remember where you stopped, simply press the Play ( ) button ❷ to resume playback where you left off (resuming playback). If the Stop (■) button ❶ is pressed twice, the unit will stop completely.

Press the number buttons corresponding to the track number you would like to play, and the unit will playback the desired track automatically.
During playback, press the Skip (
) or ( 
) button to select a track to be played.
