DRIVER TUBES: 3 x 12AX7A to grab hold of the particular pre-amp tube when replacement is required. Do not allow your fingers, hands or rings/jewelry to come into contact with any other part (s) of the amplifier’s internal circuitry.

No other user serviceable parts exist in side. Refer service to qualified personnel. Always unplug AC power before removing the top cover of the amplifier.

AC RECEPTACLE: The total power consumption for the 2:100 is 6Amps @ 120 Volts. Thus, a 15 Amp circuit (which is what

most house circuitry is wired with) is adequate. Make sure the Euro style A.C. power cord is firmly seated in the power receptacle

before powering up the unit. Always connect the A.C. cord to a 3 terminal grounded socket. If none are available,

connect the A.C. power cord to a ground lift adaptor and then connect to a 2 terminal outlet. This may also be

necessary from time to time for noise problems.

This style of power cord will make tear-downs and cable routing a lot easier and save you time as well. If you

LINE FUSE: This is the 2:100’s A.C.Õs ( Alternating Current ) main fuse and provides protection from outside A.C. fluctuations, as well as power tube failure damage. Should the FUSE blow, replace it with the same rating in a slo-blo type package. The domestic U.S. version requires a 6 Amp SLO-BLO FUSE. A power tube short or failure is often the cause of a blown fuse...Follow the cold start procedure mentioned earlier in the ON / STANDBY switch section and watch the power tubes as you flip the STANDBY to the ON position. If a power tube is going bad or is arcing you will see it!

Flip the STANDBY switch to STANDBY immediately and replace the faulty power tube and the FUSE if necessary. If you see nothing abnormal as you lift the STANDBY switch, it is possible that a power tube shorted temporarily and blew the FUSE. If this is the case it may work again normally.

To be extra safe you may want to replace all power tubes in the troubleshooting tradition and save the replaced set as spares. Carry along a few extra fuses for they too could be worth their weight in gold someday.

Rectifier Stereo specifications

The Mesa/Boogie Rectifier Stereo is a celebrated product in the realm of high-performance guitar amplification. Designed to cater to the demands of both live performance and studio recording, the Rectifier Stereo stands out due to its versatility, powerful tone, and advanced technology.

This amplifier features a dual-channel design that allows guitarists to seamlessly switch between two distinct tonal profiles. The clean channel delivers pristine, bell-like tones that are ideal for jazz and pop, while the high-gain channel unleashes a ferocious, saturated sound that caters to genres such as rock and metal. This flexibility is further enhanced by the inclusion of three distinctive modes for each channel, offering players a wide array of tonal possibilities.

One of the signature technologies of the Rectifier Stereo is its Multi-Watt power switch feature. This innovative design allows players to choose between different wattage configurations—50 or 100 watts—enabling them to dial in the perfect amount of power for any performance setting. Whether you are playing in a small club or a large arena, the amplifier can be configured to deliver optimal headroom or saturation.

The Rectifier Stereo also incorporates the iconic Rectifier sound, characterized by its smooth, compressed lead tones and tight bottom end. Electronic components like the patented "Dyna-Watt" technology improve power delivery and tonal response, ultimate clarity making it suitable for intricate guitar work, while an intuitive EQ section provides precise control over the tonal spectrum.

The amplifier is built with rugged construction, featuring high-quality transformers and heavy-duty casters, ensuring durability on the road. The sleek aesthetic design makes it not only a functional tool but also a visually appealing addition to any guitarist’s arsenal.

One notable feature is its built-in effects loop, providing an easy way to integrate pedals and outboard gear into your sound without compromising tone. Furthermore, the addition of a MIDI interface opens up a world of control options for performing guitarists, allowing them to program presets and switch channels with ease.

In summary, the Mesa/Boogie Rectifier Stereo is a remarkable amplifier that blends vintage warmth with modern technology.
