Picture-in-picture (PIP)
The remote control unit has three function keys: F1 and F3. These keys are
The PIP picture can be used to display a second TV station or the picture from an AV device.
Calling picture-in-picture (PIP) function:
• If "F1" is already programmed with the function "Picture in picture", briefly press the "F1" key; otherwise, hold the "F1" key depressed until "Special func- tions 1" is displayed and then press
the | key to display the PIP picture. |
• You can shift the PIP picture with the
cursor control keys . The current position is saved.
•With the "OK" key, you can switch the PIP frame to active (red) or inactive (white).
•The contents of the PIP picture can be changed only when the PIP frame is active (red).

To display the picture from an AV device con- nected to the TV set, press the "AV" key and then select the AV device with the numeric keys.
•Pressing the red key 
exchanges the two pic- tures.
•Pressing the green key 
causes the PIP picture to be displayed as the large picture and termi- nates the PIP function.
•To remove the PIP picture from the screen, press the „TV“ key.
☞If a recording has been programmed in the timer menu, the program being recorded is displayed in the PIP picture when the PIP function is activated.
