Maintenance and Care

Always make sure the vacuum cleaner is unplugged and the Powerbrush is disconnected from the vacuum before attempting to clean or service the Powerbrush.

To remove threads or hair wrapped around the roller:

￿Cut the threads or hair using a pair of scissors. The pieces will be drawn into the Powerbrush by the suction power of the vacuum the next time it is used.

Stubborn tangles or other objects can be removed as follows:

￿Loosen the two lock screws on the bottom of the Powerbrush using a coin or screwdriver and remove the roller cover.

￿Pull up the roller brush until it releases from the main housing, and slide the drive belt over the end of the brush. The roller brush and roller brush compartment can now be cleaned.
