Description of the functions

The cooker hood works with

. . . air extraction:

The cooker hood draws in the cooking vapours. First, the air is drawn in via the edge extraction panels. It is then guided through and cleaned by the grease filters before being directed outside.

The cooker hood operates with a non-return flap.

This flap is closed when the cooker hood is switched off, so that no exchange of room air and outside air can take place.

When the cooker hood is switched on, the non-return flap opens for the cooking vapours to be blown directly outside.

. . . air recirculation:

(DUU 2900 conversion kit for recirculation required)

The air is drawn in through the edge extraction panels and then cleaned by the grease filters. It is then directed into the recirculation unit where it is also cleaned by the charcoal filters. The cleaned air is then recirculated back into the kitchen.

Before using the cooker hood in recirculation mode, ensure that the charcoal filters are in place. See Cleaning and care.

. . . an external motor:

(EXT models only)

EXT models are designed to be connected to an external motor located outside the room.

The external motor is connected to the cooker hood by means of a control cable, and is operated by the controls on the cooker hood.
