Cleaning and care
Remote control
The surface should be wiped with a damp cloth only. Only use a damp cloth as water could get into the unit and cause damage.
Replacing the battery
The remote control uses one 3 V, CR 2032 battery.
Only use a battery of the type quoted above.
Rechargeable batteries must not be used.
The battery needs to be replaced if you can no longer use the remote control to select cooker hood functions.
The battery should also be replaced if the indicator light on the remote control unit no longer lights up or only lights up very dimly when you press one of the buttons.
You will still be able to use the control panel on the cooker hood to select functions.
Use a suitable screwdriver to undo the two screws on the back of the remote control unit and remove the cover.
Take out the battery and replace it with a new one, making sure the polarity is correct.
Dispose of the used battery in your recycling bin.
