^The indicator light is defective. Call the Miele Service Department.
. . . food has frozen together.
Use a blunt instrument, e.g. a spoon handle or plastic scraper to carefully prise it apart.
. . . there is a thick layer of ice in the freezer.
^Check whether the door closes properly.
^Defrost and then clean the freezer. Too thick a layer of ice reduces efficiency and increases energy consumption.
If you still cannot remedy the fault having followed these suggestions, then contact the Miele Service Department
To prevent unnecessary loss of temperature it is advisable not to open the door while waiting for the appliance to be serviced.
