Before using for the first time
Programming the water hardness level
^Switch the dishwasher off using the "On/Off" button (13).
^Press the "Start/Stop" button (17) in and whilst holding it in switch the dishwasher on using the "On/Off" but- ton (13).
Release the "Start/Stop" button within two seconds.
The "Wash/Rinse" indicator light (16) and the fifth programme indicator light *
(14)(factory setting) will come on and the Salt indicator light (15) will flash.
If this is not the case the process must be repeated.
*The programme settings on the control panel run from top to bottom.
Setting the machine for water hard- ness level 0.2 - 4.0 mmol/l (1°d - 22°d):
Use the programme buttons (19) to se- lect the programme that corresponds to your water hardness level (see Table 1).
The indicator light (14) next to the se- lected programme flashes and the "Wash/Rinse" indicator light (16) comes on.

The programmed water hardness level is now stored in memory.
