Operating the dishwasher
Adding detergent
,Avoid inhalation of powder de- tergents and do not ingest dish- washer detergent! Dishwasher de- tergents contain irritant or corrosive ingredients. They can cause burning in the nose, mouth and throat if swal- lowed, or inhibit breathing. Consult a doctor immediately if detergent has been swallowed or inhaled. Keep children away from detergents and from the dishwasher when the door is open. There could still be deter- gent residues in the cabinet. To avoid the danger of children coming into contact with the dishwasher de- tergent only add detergent just be- fore starting the programme and close the door, activating the child safety lock.
It is essential to follow the instruc- tions given in the programme chart at the end of the operating instruc- tions.
^Press the opening catch on the de- tergent dispenser. The flap will spring open.
The flap is always open at the end of a programme.
