. . . there is a thick layer of ice in the freezer.
^Check that the lid has been properly closed.
^Defrost and then clean the freezer.
Too thick a layer of ice reduces efficiency and increases energy consumption.
. . . the interior lighting is not working.
The lamp needs changing.
^Disconnect it from the mains.
^Take off the cover in the direction of the arrow.
^Unscrew the lamp and replace it with a new one.
Lamp specification:
Do not use a lamp of more than
15W.
^Replace the cover.
If you still cannot remedy the fault having followed these suggestions, please contact the Miele Service Department.
To prevent unnecessary loss of temperature, it is advisable not to open the lid while waiting for the appliance to be serviced.
