7-5. Checking Or Replacing Filter Element

Slide latch down, and rotate filter cup approximately 1/4 turn.
Remove cup.
Remove retaining nut, filter element, and defuser ring.
Check filter element for dirt and moisture, and replace if necessary.
Be sure that all parts are clean and dry.
Reinstall all parts, and secure filter cup.
