Receiving Inspection

After removing your MINUTEMAN UPS from its carton, it should be inspected for damage that may have occurred in shipping. Immediately notify the carrier and place of purchase if any damage is found. Warranty claims for damage caused by the carrier will not be honored. The packing materials that your UPS was shipped in are carefully designed to minimize any shipping damage. In the unlikely case that the UPS needs to be returned to MINUTEMAN, please use the original packing material. Since MINUTEMAN is not responsible for ship- ping damage incurred when the system is returned, the original packing mate- rial is inexpensive insurance. PLEASE SAVE THE PACKING MATERIALS!

Para Systems Life Support Policy

As a general policy, Para Systems Inc. (Para Systems) does not recommend the use of any of its products in life support applications where failure or mal- function of the Para Systems product can be reasonably expected to cause failure of the life support device or to significantly affect its safety or effective- ness. Para Systems does not recommend the use of any of its products in direct patient care. Para Systems will not knowingly sell its products for use in such applications unless it receives in writing assurances satisfactory to Para Systems that (a) the risks of injury or damage have been minimized, (b) the customer assumes all such risks, and (c) the liability of Para Systems Inc. is adequately protected under the circumstances.

Examples of devices considered to be life support devices are neonatal oxygen analyzers, nerve stimulators (whether used for anesthesia, pain relief, or other purposes), auto transfusion devices, blood pumps, defibrillators, arrhythmia detectors and alarms, pacemakers, hemodialysis systems, peritoneal dialysis systems, neonatal ventilator incubators, ventilators for both adults and infants, anesthesia ventilators, and infusion pumps as well as any other devices desig- nated as “critical” by the United States FDA.

Hospital grade wiring devices and leakage current may be ordered as options on many PARA SYSTEMS UPS systems. PARA SYSTEMS does not claim that units with this modification are certified or listed as Hospital Grade by PARA SYSTEMS or any other organization. Therefore, these units do not meet the requirements for use in direct patient care.

MBK-E SERIES specifications

The Minuteman UPS MBK-E Series is engineered for the demanding environments of today’s digital world, providing reliable power protection for sensitive electronic systems. This series is particularly suited for applications in data centers, manufacturing facilities, and telecommunications, where downtime can result in significant financial loss.

One of the standout features of the MBK-E Series is its true online double conversion technology. This advanced technology ensures that connected equipment receives a consistent and clean power supply, free from disturbances such as voltage spikes, sags, and electrical noise. The UPS operates continuously, converting incoming AC power into DC power and then back to AC power, which results in a stable output, even during abnormal input conditions.

The MBK-E Series also includes a wide input voltage range, allowing the UPS to maintain operational capabilities even in fluctuating power environments. This feature is particularly valuable in regions with unreliable power infrastructure. Furthermore, the product is equipped with an advanced battery management system that extends battery life through intelligent charging methods, ensuring that critical systems remain powered during outages.

One of the notable characteristics of the MBK-E Series is its modular design. With an easily expandable capacity, users can customize their UPS systems to meet their specific needs, enabling straightforward upgrades as power demands grow. This flexibility helps organizations efficiently manage their investment in power protection.

In addition to its robust performance features, the MBK-E Series includes comprehensive monitoring and management options. Users can access real-time data regarding power conditions, battery status, and overall system health through an intuitive LCD interface. Remote management capabilities, often facilitated through SNMP or USB interfaces, allow for proactive monitoring and alerts, minimizing the risk of system failures.

The Minuteman UPS MBK-E Series is also designed with energy efficiency in mind, incorporating features such as eco-mode operation to reduce power consumption while maintaining critical functions. By lowering environmental impact and operational costs, this UPS series supports both sustainability and financial efficiency.

Overall, the Minuteman UPS MBK-E Series stands out for its reliability, performance, and flexibility, making it an excellent choice for businesses looking to safeguard their electronic devices and infrastructure against power interruptions. It embodies a blend of cutting-edge technology and user-friendly features, providing peace of mind in today’s power-sensitive landscape.
