It is best to frame your fireplace after it is positioned and the vent system installed. Use 2x4’s and frame to local building codes.

To install the fireplace facing flush with the finished wall, position the framework to accommodate the thickness of the finished wall.

It is not necessary to install a hearth extension with this fireplace system.

The junction box should be wired to the electrical system at the time of installation of the fireplace. Wiring must be performed by a qualified person in a manner to conform with National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA 70 and all applicable local codes.

CAUTION: ALWAYS CHECK AND MAKE SURE POWER IS OFF BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL OR SERVICE ANY ELECTRICAL WIRING OR COMPONENTS.
