IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1Read all the instructions.

2IMPORTANT: The metal blade, disc attachments are very sharp. Always take care when handling them, especially when removing them from the bowl and when cleaning.

3To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put appliance in water or any other liquid.

4Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.

Never allow a child to use this product.

5Unplug from the socket when not in use, before putting on or taking off attach- ments, and before cleaning.

6Avoid touching moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing as well as spatulas and other utensils away from processor tools during operation, to prevent personal injury and/or damage to the appliance. NEVER PUT YOUR FINGERS INTO THE FEED TUBE. Always use the food pusher.

7Do not operate any appliance with a damaged lead or plug, or after an appliance has malfunctioned, or has been dropped or damaged in any way. Contact Morphy Richards for advice on examina- tion, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

8The use of attachments or tools not recommended or sold by Morphy Richards may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

9Do not use outdoors.

10DO NOT let the mains lead overhang the edge of the table or work-top, or touch hot surfaces.

11Never immerse the processor body in water or any other liquid. All tools and attachments should be removed before cleaning.

12DO NOT PLACE THE APPLIANCE ON OR NEAR A HOT GAS OR ELECTRIC HOB, OR IN A HEATED OVEN.

13Do not overfill the processor. This could cause damage to the motor.

14Do not process for longer than the time periods recommended.

15When using the processor, do not remove the lid until the blade has stopped rotating.

16Always remove the tool before emptying the processor bowl of its contents.

17Should the mains lead of the appliance need replacing, do not attempt this repair yourself as special tools are required. Contact Morphy Richards for advice on service or repair.

Electrical Requirements

Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your appliance corresponds with your house electricity supply which must be A.C. (Alternating Current).

For appliances supplied with fitted plug. If the socket outlets in your home are not

suitable for the plug supplied with this appli- ance the plug should be removed and the appropriate one fitted.

IMPORTANT : THE PLUG REMOVED FROM THE MAINS LEAD, IF SEVERED, MUST BE DESTROYED AS A PLUG WITH BARED FLEXIBLE CORD IS HAZARDOUS IF ENGAGED INTO A LIVE SOCKET OUTLET.

Should the fuse in the 13 amp plug require changing a 3 amp BS1362 fuse must be fitted
