Your service provider might give you phone numbers for taxi companies or other services. These phone numbers are stored on your SIM/USIM card. To see them:

s> Tools > Dialling Services > Service Dial

quick dial*

Dial preprogrammed phone numbers:

s> Tools > Dialling Services > Quick Dial

DTMF tones

Activate DTMF tones:

s> Settings > Initial Setup > DTMF

To send DTMF tones during a call, just press number keys or scroll to a number in the phonebook or recent calls lists and press Options > Send Tones.

voice dial a phonebook entry (name dial)

Voice dial a number stored in the phonebook:

Press and hold N.

When prompted, say “name dial” (within two seconds). When prompted again, say the entry’s name (within two seconds).

Your phone matches your voice to a phonebook entry name. To voice dial a number not stored in the phonebook, see page 64.
