43Listening to New Messages While OverseasSaving/Deleting Messages
While a message is playing or, after you have finished listening to it, you ca n
save it or delete it. To save a message press 9 when prompted to do so. To
delete a message press 7 when prompted to do so (see “Automatic
Playback” on page 46 to have messages automatically saved).
NOTE:To retrieve deleted messages, press * then 3 from the
main Voice Mail menu. Messages that are not saved or deleted
remain in your mailbox as new messages for 30 days. All mes-
sages are automatically deleted after 30 days.

From the Phone Ready screen, press o under “Mail” to open the
Mail screen.

Voic e Ma il should be highlighted to indicate that
it is selected. If it isn’t selected, press 1 to
select it. An asterisk indicates new messages.

Press o under “Ok.” The Voice Mail screen appears.

Press o under “Dial”.
NOTE: If you hear a message that says, “Enter the phone number
of the subscriber you are trying to reach” enter your own
i2000 phone number.

When the greeting plays, press * to interrupt it.

When prompted, enter password.

Follow the instructions.
After exiting the voice mail session, you cannot
recover deleted messages.
