1From the recent calls list, scroll to the name you want to send a message to.

2If the entry has more than one phone number stored, view the phone number you want to send the message to.

3Press A under Create. -or-

If Create is not one of your options: Press m. Select Compose SMS.

The message is automatically addressed to the phone number you chose.

4Follow step 4 through step 5 of “Creating and Sending Messages” on page 75.

1Using the keypad, enter the number you want to send a message to.

2Press m.

Quick Notes

Quick Notes

Quick notes are short, pre-written text messages that you can insert as the text of a message. After are quick note is inserted, you can edit it as you would any other text.

You can add to or change the quick notes stored in your phone. Your phone stores up to 20 quick notes. A quick note may be up to 30 characters long.

Creating New Quick Notes

To create a quick note and save it in the list of quick notes stored in your phone:

1From the main menu, select Messages > Quick Notes.

2Select [New Note]. -or- Press A under Create.

3Enter text. -or-

To choose from existing notes to edit and save, press A under Browse and select the note you want to edit.

4Press O to save the new quick note. If you edited an existing note, that now is overwritten with the new note.
