Touchscreen keypad

To open the touchscreen keypad, touch a text box or
press and holdMenu . To close it, press Back .
Tip: You might need to activate your touchscreen
keypad: Touch Menu > Settings > Language &
keyboard > Android keyboard and Virtual
keyboard.

message.
Touch to open the
touchscreen keypad.
To m ove the cursor, touch and hold a word you
entered. Then, touch and hold to open a magnifier that
lets you drag the cursor to another spot.

Text entry settings

When you enter text, your phone automatically
corrects or suggests words. To change these settings,
press Menu > Settings > Language & keyboard,
then:
•To edit your word suggestion dictionary, touchUser
dictionary.
•You can activate a touchscreen keypad that will
open any time you touch a text box. To activate it,
touchVirtual keyboard or to change its options,
touchAndroid keyboard.
•To change the automatic correction settings for your
full keypad, touchDevice keyboard.
