Cordless Handset Range

When the handset is at standby and out of range of the base, the icon will disappear and ‘Searching’ will be shown in the display. You will need to move closer to the base to be able to make and receive any further calls

Redial on the Handset Base

The ‘Redial’ log will store the last 10 numbers (or name if stored in the phonebook) that you dialled, up to a maximum of 24 digits for each number.

To dial a number from the Redial log

1.

Press the ‘Redial’ key

2.

Use the

and

keys to highlight the number to dial

3.

Lift the handset or press the ‘Speaker’ key to make the call

4.

Replace the handset or press the ‘Speaker’ key to end the call

To save a number to Phonebook from the Redial log

1.

Press the ‘Redial’ key

2.

Use the

and

keys to highlight the number to save

3.

Press the ‘Menu/OK’ key

4.

Use the

key to scroll down to ‘Save number’

5.

Press the ‘Menu/OK’ key

6.

Using the keypad, enter the name for the phonebook entry. If you need to delete any

 

incorrect characters or digits, just press the ‘Cancel’ key

To enter the characters for a name, press the key the required number of times eg: for the letter ‘H’ you would press the number 4 key twice.If 2 consecutive characters are on the same key, enter the first character, then wait for the cursor to move to the right before pressing the key again to enter the next character. If you need a space, just press the ‘1’.

7. Press the ‘Menu/OK’ key again to save the entry
