The Ethernet card must be installed before the SB4100.

If it isn't, follow the installation instructions that came with your Ethernet card.

To use the SB4100 with your computer system, you need the following:

Service Provider

You must sign up with your data service provider who provides access to the Internet and other online services.

Computer

Your computer must be equipped with a USB or Ethernet port and the Transport Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to access the SB4100. The SB4100 is compatible with Microsoft®, Macintosh®, and UNIX® operating systems.

Computers using Windows® 95, UNIX, or Macintosh systems must use the Ethernet connection.

Ethernet Card or

USB Special Software

Any standard 10/100Base-T Ethernet card operates with the SB4100. This is not needed if connecting to the USB port. The Ethernet card must be installed before the SB4100. If it is not, follow the installation instructions included with your Ethernet card.
