Call Waiting

When set to On, you are notified of a waiting call by an audible alert and a call waiting message. Press ( to answer the call or ) to

reject it.

If you have Caller Line Identification, the caller’s number or name

is displayed instead of the Call Waiting message. Availability of this feature depends on your service provider.

Note: Call Waiting is a network and subscription dependent feature and may not be available in all areas.

Call Barring

Call barring is a network feature which can be used to bar outgoing and incoming calls. If you change the setting, you may be asked to enter your barring password. There is a short delay while the Personal Communicator notifies the network of the new setting.

When the change is made, the Personal Communicator displays a confirmation message.

Note: The initial password is supplied to you by your service provider. This option may be affected by the Fixed Dialing setting.
