Setting Up Your Phone

Setting Call Sounds and Alert Styles

Your phone rings and/or vibrates to notify you of an incoming call or to signal certain other events.

Setting Call Sounds

Find it: Press MENU (K) D SETTINGS & TOOLS Sounds Setting

1If necessary, set Style: to Master Volume:

Scroll to Style: and press Change (+), then scroll to Master Volume and press

Select (+).

2Scroll to Master Volume Detail and press Change (+).

3Scroll to Calls and press Change (+) to select it.

4Scroll to the desired detail setting and press Select (+).

Note: Your phone plays a sample of each highlighted setting as you scroll through the settings.

If you set Call Vibrate to On, the phone vibrates to indicate an incoming call. (If you also set Calls to a sound, the phone vibrates and rings to indicate an incoming call.)

Setting Alerts

Your phone includes alerts for Calls, Inbox, Voicemail, Alarms, Data Calls, Fax Calls, and Reminders.
