Using the Speakerphone During Push to Talk Calls

There are several ways to turn on or turn off the speakerphone during Push to Talk calls.

Action

Press H and hold for 1 second to turn it on or off, depending on the current setting.

Spkrphone On displays on the home screen when the speakerphone is on.

Press SPEAKER (+), when displayed during a call to turn it on.

Press T(+), when displayed during a call to turn it off.

For privacy, turn off the speakerphone and use the earpiece for listening.

Notes:

To set the speakerphone to Always On or to a 20 sec timeout: M > Settings > Initial Setup > SpeakerPhone.

The speakerphone’s default setting is ON every time the phone is turned on.
