incoming alert call

When you receive an alert, your phone plays the “PTT Alert” tone and displays Incoming Alert, along with the phone number or contact name of the calling party. The “PTT Alert” tone repeats every five seconds until it is answered or ignored, or until twenty seconds have passed.

1You can choose to answer or ignore the alert.

To answer the alert, press and hold the PTT Key, and begin talking. To ignore the alert, press the Right Soft Key (:) (Ignore).

2Release the PTT Key to let the other party talk.

3Press the Power/End Key (%) to end the call.

return the last PTT call

To quickly call the last PTT call that you dialed or

received: Press and hold the PTT Key. The phone finds the last call you made or received and makes a barge call to that number.

handsfree speaker for PTT calls

Caution: During an active PTT call, pressing the Smart/Speakerphone Key, with the flip closed, ends the call.

When you make a PTT call, your phone automatically uses the handsfree speaker (see page 22) during the call unless you press and hold the Smart/Speakerphone Key, with the flip open.

When you receive a PTT call, your phone automatically uses the handsfree speaker unless you have set Master Volume to Vibrate Only, Alarm Only, or All Sounds Off (see page 21).
