If you enter a word your phone does not recognize, your phone stores the word to use as a future word option. When your phone runs out of phone memory for new words, it deletes the oldest words to add new words.
numeric method
In a text entry screen, press *to switch entry methods until your phone displays the à (numeric) indicator.
Press keypad keys to enter numbers. When finished, press *to switch entry modes.
symbol method
In a text entry screen, press *to switch entry methods until your phone displays the Ä(symbol) indicator. Scroll to highlight a symbol and press sto enter it.
delete letters & words
Move the cursor to the right of the text you want to delete and then:
•Press Bto delete one letter at a time.
•Press and hold Bto delete the word.
handsfree speaker
You can use your phone’s handsfree speaker to make calls without holding the phone to your ear. The flip can be open or closed.
Note: The handsfree speaker won’t work with a handsfree car kit or headset.
