Tap Method Text Entry Rules

Press a number key repeatedly to cycle through its characters. See the chart on page 35.

If you do not press a key for 2 seconds, the character in the block cursor is accepted, and the cursor moves to the next position.

Press Sleft or right to move the flashing cursor to the left or right in a text message.

The first character of every sentence is capitalized. Press Sdown to force the character to lowercase while it is highlighted by the block cursor.
