3Maak het hoofddeel van het apparaat met een vochtige doek schoon.

4Verwijder het bakje en het rooster (5, 12) en was ze af met water. Geen schuurmiddelen gebruiken.

5 Maak de afdichting (15) in het koffieuitloopsysteem (14) schoon.

Deze schoonhouden.

6Draai de douchekop (16) regelmatig, afhankelijk van het gebruik, los en maak hem schoon.

7Als het apparaat gedurende een lange periode niet gebruikt wordt, het water uit de boiler verwijderen door de warm water / koffie schakelaar op “1” te zetten en een hoeveelheid water uit de stoompijp te laten lopen gelijk aan twee koppen cappuccino.

Doe dit alleen na het reservoir met koud water gevuld te hebben. Zet de pomp nooit aan als er geen water aanwezig is.

8N.B.: Het is normaal dat een espresso- apparaat af en toe stoom vrijlaat of water druppelt daar de druk van het water tijdens het gebruik verandert.

Vergeet niet het bakje (12) te legen.

Ontkalken:

Op plaatsen waar het water erg kalkrijk is, wordt de werking van het apparaat hierdoor beïnvloed.

Maak ongeveer om de twee maanden (afhankelijk van het gebruik en van de eigenschappen van het water) het apparaat schoon met de speciale Gaggia ontkalker (volg de aanwijzingen die hierop vermeld zijn).

Verwijder de douchekop (16) en maak hem schoon.

Giet de oplossing in het reservoir en zet de pomp gedurende 15 seconden aan. Laat de oplossing gedurende enkele seconden in het koffieuitloopsysteem en in de stoompijp lopen. Wacht 20 minuten en herhaal dan de handeling tot de hele oplossing gebruikt is.

Spoel het apparaat door met koud water. Plaats de douchekop (16) weer.

N.B.: Storingen veroorzaakt door kalkaanslag zijn niet gedekt door de garantie. De gebruiker mag geen enkel ander onderhoud aan het apparaat verrichten.

Gebruik de Gaggia ontkalker voor de beste resultaten.

Let goed op de stoom slang niet aan te raken: deze zou erg heet kunnen zijn!
