1.PROLONGATEURS. Toujours maintenir le prolongateur à l’écart des lames. Ne jamais le placer sur la haie que l’on va tailler. Si le cordon se coupe ou est endommagé, le débrancher immédiatement du réceptacle avant de l’inspecter ou de le réparer.

2.POSITION DE TRAVAIL Rester dans une position d’équilibre stable. Ne pas trop se pencher. Porter des lunettes de protection, des chaussures antidérapantes et des gants en caoutchouc pendant le travail. Tenir fer- mement le taille-haie à deux mains, puis le mettre en marche. Toujours tenir le taille-haie comme indiqué dans les illustrations, une main sur la poignée arrière et l’autre sur la poignée avant. ne jamais tenir l’outil par le protège lames.

3.TAILLER LES NOUVELLES POUSSES. Un ample mouvement mi-rotatif - les dents de la lame passant à travers les brindilles - est le plus efficace. Une légère inclinaison de la lame vers le bas et dans la direction du mouvement donne la meilleure coupe. (Fig. 4)

Ne pas utiliser le ATTENTION: taille-haie pour

couper des tiges de plus de 1/2” Utiliser le taille-haie exclusivement pour tailler des buis- sons de taille normale qui se trouvent autour de maisons ou autres bâtiments.

4.EGALISER LES HAIES. Pour obtenir des haies excep- tionnellement bien égalisées, il est possible d’attacher un morceau de ficelle qui puisse servir de guide, sur toute la longueur de la haie.

5.TAILLER SUR LES COTES. Tenir le taille-haie comme indiqué ; commencer par le bas et monter. (Fig.5)
