21. The WAN Ports Default Setup dialog box is displayed with all the WAN Ports enabled, Asynchronous
mode enabled, the speed set at 115200, and the Modem Type defaulted to Socket Modem K56flex.
Each WAN port can be configured independently; e.g., one can dial a specific number, another could
answer a call, and the third could dial a different number.
If WAN 1 is being set up to answer a call, click on the Answering option and then click on the Direct
Connect/Leased Line option to disable the Direct Connect/Leased Line option.
If WAN 1 is being set up to make a call, click on the Direct Connect/Leased Line option to disable that
option and enter the telephone number to be dialed in the Dial Number field.
The Speed and Modem type should remain at 115200 and Socket Modem K56flex. If either
selection needs to be changed, click on the down arrow and click on your new selection.
22. Repeat the above step for WAN 2 and WAN 3.
23. Click on OK when you are satisfied with your selections.
The WAN port can be further configured, once the installation of the software is completed, by
clicking on the MultiRouter Configuration icon and clicking on the WAN button.
24. The Checking Router dialog box displays. The Setup utility is “Ready to Download default setup
Choose OK to proceed”.
Click on the OK button to continue installing the software.
The Writing Setup dialog box displays as the setup configuration is written to the RASFinder.
25. Check to ensure that the Fail LED on the RASFinder is Off after the download is complete and the
RASFinder is rebooted.
26. Win3.1 users - you are returned to your Program Manager where the MultiRouter Program Group
and Program Items (Windows icons) have been created.
Win95 users - you are returned to your desktop.
Your RASFinder is operational at this time.
