AR13D RIDE-ON ROLLER — INSPECTION
Before Starting | 3. Check the oil level shown on the dipstick (Figure 8). |
1.Read safety instructions at begining of manual.
2.Clean the ROLLER, removing dirt and dust, particularly the engine cooling air inlet, carburetor and air cleaner.
3.Check theair filter for dirtanddust. Ifairfilterisdirty,replace air filter with a new one as required.
4.Check carburetor for external dirt and dust. Clean with dry compressedair.
5.Check fastening nuts and bolts for tightness.

ground with the engine stopped. | ||

2.Remove the dipstick from its holder (Figure 7) and wipe it clean.
4.If the oil level is low, remove the oil filler cap (Figure 9) and fill to the safe operating level (F) as indicated by the dipstick. Pour oil slowly. Fill with recommended type oil as listed in Table 4. Maximum oil capacity is 3.5 quarts (3.3 liters).

To assure proper venting, always remove the dipstick when adding oil. ALWAYS be sure to check the engine oil level prior to starting the engine.
