Engine Air Cleaner
1.Remove the air cleaner cover and foam filter element as shown in Figure 24.
2.Wash the foam filter element in kerosene or diesel fuel. Then saturate it in a mixture of 3 parts kerosene or diesel fuel and 1 part engine oil. Completely squeeze the ele- ment to remove the mixture and reinstall it back into the air cleaner.
