Select the host PC that is connected to the PC Expanion in the “UTMA/UTSA- Server Connection list” and then click the <Edit> button.

Select ‘Use auto logon’ in the ‘Connection Information Settings’ screen. Be sure to enter your ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’ and click the <OK> button. The Auto Logon function is only allowed on the NCT-2000-XP console because the password is saved in the user personal profile managed by the host computer and the PC Expanion cannot manage this information. Therefore, this function setting is allowed on a host computer.

In order to save the changed option, the PC Expanion must be restarted. Click the <Yes> button in order to restart the PC Expanion.

Note

If the user uses the specific PC Expanion, the right figure appears

 

like as the right window. If when the user clicks the <Yes> button,

 

the PC Expanion will be restarted. However the present

 

environment is saved. Therefore if the same user logs on again,

 

the environment will be loaded.

If the specific PC Expanion is turned off or there is no the PC Expanion on the network, the follwing image will appear. Click the <OK> button.

6Select the specific host PC in the connection list on the startup screen of the PC Expanion. If the ‘Autodetection’ is disabled and ‘TS 2’ or ‘TS 3’ is enabled, ‘TS 2’ or ‘TS 3’ will be displayed in the connection list.
