Why does the warning message below appear when I install NCT-2000-XP?

Windows XP Service Pack 2 provides reinforced firewall that displays a security warning message when a new port is used. The message also appears when you install another program such as Messenger. If you select <Continue Cut Off> in the message box, you will not be able to find NComputing servers even if you run the setup program again because the port is blocked. If you select <Allow>, the port will open unless you block it manually. If you select <Check Later>, although the port is opened for now, the security warning message will appear again when the port is accessed next.

Why does a message appear asking me to stop or delete a firewall or anti-virus program when I install NCT-2000-XP?

PC Expanion communicates with a host computer using WoIP based on TCP/IP over an Ethernet connection. Therefore a firewall or anti- virus program may block the operation of the program mistaking PC Expanion for a virus. Therefore, you have to open the ports in the corresponding program or stop the program to use PC Expanion.
