Recording a Mailbox Name

You can record a name for a mailbox (Subscriber, Guest, Message
Center, Alias/Remote Network). The mailbox name plays in the voice
prompts that would otherwise play the mailbox number or its corre-
sponding extension number. For example, if mailbox 303 has the
name "Joe Smith," NVM-Series plays,
Joe Smith does not answer
instead of,
Extension 303 does not answer. You can record a name that is up
to 10 seconds long.
If the System Administrator records a mailbox name using the System
Administrator Menu, that name overrides the name you record, and
vice versa.
1. Call your mailbox (see page 6).
2. Press RN (76).
3. Follow the voice prompts.
To hear the Recording Options while
recording, press zero.
