Changing Your Security Code
If you assign a security code to your mailbox, you will have to enter
the code every time you call your mailbox to listen to your messages
or use other NVM-Series features. Asecurity code can be up to 6 dig-
its long. And you can change the security code at any time. If you for-
get the security code, the System Administrator can erase your current
one so you can enter a new one.
The following types of mailboxes can have a security code:
Subscriber, Message Center, Guest, and Network.
1. Call your mailbox (see page 6).
2. Press OP (67).
3. Press S(7).
4. Follow the voice prompts.
About Message NotificationWith Message Notification, you can have NVM-Seriescall you when
you receive messages. You start by customizing the Message
Notification options to meet your needs. You can specify:
■The notification numbers and schedule.
NVM-Series can call up to 3 different notifications in a single day.
You must specify the time of day that NVM-Seriesshould start and
stop calling each number. For example, you may want NVM-Series
to call your home number only from 6 PM to 8 AM. To have
Message Notification call the same number around the clock, enter
the same time for the start and stop time. Once you set up the sched-
ules, you must select which notification numbers should be active.
NVM-Series only calls notification numbers that are active. (Please
note: In the voice prompts for Message Notification, NVM-Series
refers to the notification numbers as notification groups.)
■Whether you want to be notified of all messages or only messages
from a specific person's mailbox (including network mailboxes).
