Indicator Messages

Power Indicator

Off Timer is enabled.
Steady light Green The projector is turned on.
Orange [NORMAL] is selected for [STANDBY MODE]
Red [POWER-SAVING] is selected for [STANDBY
MODE]

Temperature error The projector is overheated. Move the projector to
a cooler location.

Power error Power unit is not working properly. Contact your
dealer.

Fan error Fans will not work correctly.
6 cycle (0.5 sec

Lamp error Lamp fails to light. Wait a full minute and then
turn on again.

[DYNAMIC CONTRAST] error Dynamic Contrast function is not working properly
on NP410/NP310. Contact your dealer.
Green Re-firing the lamp (The projector is cooling
down.)
The projector is re-firing.

Standby ([NORMAL] for [STANDBY MODE])
Orange CONTROL PANEL LOCK is on. You have pressed cabinet button when Control
Panel Lock is on.
CONTROL ID error Remote control ID and projector ID are not
matched.
Lamp Indicator

Off Normal
Blinking light Red Lamp has reached its end of life. Lamp replace-
ment message will be displayed.
Replace the lamp.
Steady light Red Lamp has been used beyond its limit. The projec-
tor will not turn on until the lamp is replaced.
Replace the lamp.
Green [ECO MODE] is set to [ON]

Over-TemperatureProtection

Ifthetemperatureinsidetheprojectorrisestoohigh,theover-temperatureprotectorwillautomaticallyturnoffthelamp
withtheSTATUSindicatorblinking(2-cycleOnandOff.)
Shouldthishappen,dothefollowing:
• Unplugthepowercableafterthecoolingfansstop.
• Movetheprojectortoacoolerlocationiftheroomwhereyouarepresentingisparticularlytoowarm.
• Cleantheventilationholesiftheyarecloggedwithdust.
• Waitabout60minutesuntiltheinsideoftheprojectorbecomescoolenough.
