The DV controls allow you to select an RGB2 signal format, to emphasize the brightness of neutral tint, and to enhance the contrast by emphasizing black.

If the monitor does not reproduce the color for a
component signal correctly, the monitor will select

RGB signals -provided horizontal frequencies of these

 

 

RGB signals must be 60 kHz and below.

 

 

This mode is recommended for displaying movie or

 

 

graphics.

 

 

 

 

 

NOTE: Component signals (YPBPR) refers to the

 

 

signals of 1920 x 1080/60/2:1 and 1280 x 720/60/1:1.

GAMMA

 

 

: Pressing + s emphasizes the brightness of neutral tint;

RGB2 SOURCE SELECT : Pressing + selects AUTO, RGB, YCBCR, YPBPR, or RGB CTL in this order.

Normally selecting AUTO allows the monitor to automatically distinguish between RGB and component (YCBCR/YPBPR) signals.

CV Controls Group

The CV controls allow you to adjust various convergence controls to ensure that a white line drawn on the screen is as crisp and clear as possible.

AREA CONVERGENCE1 : You can enter the four-selection mode with the PROCEED key. Now you can use the up or down key to select one of the four modes. Adjust the selected item with the + or - key.
