Preparation 1 Charge the Battery

1Connect the power cable in the order indicated below.

2Insert the battery into the battery charger

by sliding the battery forward (1), and

press down until it locks into place (2).

•CHARGE lamp starts blinking when charging starts.

•A fully-exhausted battery charges in about two

hours and 30minutes.

•When charging is complete, the CHARGE lamp

stops blinking.

•See “Understanding CHARGE Lamp” (A17).

3When charging is complete, remove the battery, and then unplug the

charger.
