Choose the function assigned to
the B button on the optional
MB-D10 battery pack.
DThe B Button
Pressing the B button will not activate vibration reduction when a VR
lens is attached.
Option Description
AAF-ON
(default)
Pressing the MB-D10 B button initiates
autofocus.
BAE/AF lock Focus and exposure lock while the MB-D10 B
button is pressed.
CAE lock only Exposure locks while the MB-D10 B button is
pressed.
DAE lock (Reset
on release)
Exposure locks when the MB-D10 B button is
pressed, and remains locked until the button is
pressed a second time, the shutter is released or
the exposure meters turn off.
EAE lock (Hold)
Exposure locks when the MB-D10 B button is
pressed, and remains locked until the button is
pressed a second time or the exposure meters turn
off.
FAF lock only Focus locks while the MB-D10 B button is
pressed.
GSame as
