Basic Photography and Playback: Easy Auto Mode

Step 1 Turn the Camera On and Select G(Easy Auto) Mode

In G (easy auto) mode, the camera automatically determines an appropriate shooting mode when you frame a picture, allowing you to easily take pictures using a shooting mode that suits the scene (A 26).

1Press the power switch to turn on the camera.

The power-on lamp (green) will light for a moment and the monitor will turn on. The lens will extend at this time.

Easy auto mode is set at the time of purchase. Proceed to step 4.

2 Press Ato display the shooting-mode selection menu.

3Press the multi selector HIto choose G

Easy auto mode

and press k.

The camera enters G(easy auto) mode.

4Check the battery level and number of exposures remaining.
