The “best shot selector” is recommended when shooting with the flash off or the camera zoomed in, or in other situations in which inadvertent motion can result in blurred pictures.

Images are captured with the image mode fixed at L(image size is 2560×1920).
Digital zoom cannot be applied.
The icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor when the camera is in shooting mode (A6). No icon is displayed when Single is selected.
BNote on Continuous Shooting
•The maximum frame rate with continuous shooting may vary, depending upon the current image mode setting, the memory card used, and shooting conditions.
•This feature cannot be used simultaneously with certain features. ➝“Camera Settings that Cannot Be Set at the Same Time” (A78)
BNote on BSS
BSS is best suited to situations where the subject is not moving. BSS may not produce the desired results if the subject moves or if the composition is changed while the
