Electronically Controlled Cameras

In extremely rare instances,unusual characters may appear inthe monitor and the camera may stop functioning. In most cases, this phenomenon is caused by a strong external static charge. Data that were present when the camera stops functioning may be lost as a result of this, but existing data in the internal memory or memory card will not be lost.
