Use when shooting a series of pictures that will later be joined to form a single panorama using the supplied Panorama Maker software.

The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame.

Shooting Pictures for a Panorama

The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame. Use a tripod for best results. Set Vibration reduction (A167) to Off when using a tripod to stabilize the camera during shooting.

1 Use the multi selector to choose

pPanorama assist in the scene menu and press the kbutton (A41).

The panorama direction icon (I) is displayed to show the direction in which pictures will be joined.

2 Use the multi selector to choose the direction and press the kbutton.

Select how pictures will be joined together in the completed panorama; right (I), left (J), up (K) or

down (L).

direction. When you press the kbutton, the selected

direction is set, and a white direction icon (I) appears for that direction.

Apply flash mode (A32), self-timer (A35), focus mode (A37) and exposure compensation (A40) settings with this step, if necessary.

Press the kbutton to reselect the direction.
