Photograph flowers, insects and other small objects at close range.

•When the Fmark on the monitor glows green (when the
zoom indicator is positioned before G), the camera can focus on subjects as close as about 2 cm (0.8 in.) from the lens. The closest distance at which the camera can focus varies depending on the zoom position.
•AF area mode is set to Manual. When the kbutton is pressed, camera focuses on subject in active focus area (A144).
