World Map Events
As you progress through the game, you will eventually come across side stories. Enter one to start a battle that is separate from the main storyline.
You may also encounter enemies, merchants or other players you have met via StreetPass™ (p. 17). Enter a map where such a character appears to start a battle or to buy special items.

♦Time in the game is synchronised with the time on your system. To prevent problems such as the World Map not updating, Barracks (p. 7) events not occurring or an inability to obtain units via SpotPass (p. 18), do not change the date or time settings on your system.
