SpotPass Features
Even when you're not playing the game, you can receive new maps, teams and items via SpotPass.
SpotPass is active only when the system is in Sleep Mode and within range of a compatible internet access point.
♦Data received via SpotPass is saved to the SD Card. Make sure that an SD Card is inserted into the SD Card slot at all times.
♦To change the language of the messages you receive via SpotPass, first change the language settings on the Nintendo 3DS system. Next, in the Wireless menu turn SpotPass off and then on again. Refer to
“Wireless Communication” (p. 16) for more information.
To use SpotPass, you must first:
-Accept the Nintendo 3DS Service User Agreement and Privacy Policy
-Set up an internet connection
-Insert an SD Card into the Nintendo 3DS system.
